Folks – Please welcome our ‘DUDES’ and ‘DUDETT’ of the month! Put your hands together for Prashant, Vibhu and Purvi!! (Yayy!! Clap Clap – Cheer Cheer)!
Prashant (aka Joshi from Dindoshi)(in white) and Vibhu (aka Khabri or Rishi Vibhudhar ji)(in purple) are the DUDES of the month because of their superb job at organizing yet another DSN in Goregaon!! Out of the 7 DSNs that have happened in Mumbai over the last 2 years, 5 have been in Goregaon – thanks to our DSN SWAT Team – Vibhu and Prashant!! This includes the most challenging SKYPE DSN!!
It is amazing how these two are always up and enthusiastic about DSN! Never have they shy’d away from this huge responsibility! Organizing a YES!+ DSN is not a joke – you should ask these two what goes on behind the scenes! For the participants – the DSN begins the day the course starts, but for the organizers, it begins a month in advance and finishes a few days after the course ends! Even during exams you get to sleep more than when you are on the DSN team!
Of course it is possible because of the superb support they get from the entire VnV team – but none the less, they are the OTCs!!
Special mention this time of Sunil – who impressed me thoroughly with his diligence! It was awesome how he was there every morning and effortlessly took on so many seva tasks with a smile! Mark of a great volunteer!
And now give it up for the lady – our DUDETT of the month – PURVI!!!! (Yayyy!! Clap Clap – Cheer Cheer)!
Purvi is the DUDETT of the month because of the superb job of organizing GURUJI’s Birthday bash (read Satsang) at her magnificent bunglow and taking such good care of us (and not charging Akhil for breaking the showpiece)! Also, for the fact that although she is new to the team, she has demonstrated the zeal of an old-timer and has managed to get more than 5 registrations for our YES!+ courses!!!
Purvi – you will go a long way! (You may begin by going to the Bangalore Ashram ;)
And finally – what a time we had last night!
Guruji ko bhi Germany mein itna maza nahi aaya hoga jitna hamein yahan aaya!! (Who says I am jealous of Vasudha for being in Germany with HIM!!)

We had more than 200 (Yeah u read it right)!!! people present, and each one of them was so obviously in bliss! The VnV Satsang Team did a super fabulous job last night!! Kudos to all the singers and musicians – Sid, Jainil, Karan, Shivangi, Dippak, Akhil, Divya, Raghav, Kuldeep and Virat!! So many people came and told me they had an amazing time!! We then celebrated Sagar’s bday with ice-cream, and later went to Juhu beach for GOLA at 1am!!

Here’s to another smashing SSS Year (Seva, Sadhna, Satsang) and to many more DUDES and DUDETTS!!!! Vasu should be back soon – and I am eagerly waiting for the Guru stories and the snaps!

Purvi and I go a long way, to the days when I taught soft skills in Yashodham High School and darling Purvi and her equally adorable sister Nirvi were my students. Her smiling demeanor and genuineness always seemed to win me over. I always knew she had that special something and today I can confidently say she'll not only make a noteworthy Seva Warrior but a leader too. Purvi, your humble, true, sincere and loving nature sets you apart, love you for it! You can only get better!

This was the 5th time that goregoan team has got a chance to host the Yes!+ DSN, and on every single DSN there is some learning and new experience. One thing I have experienced that while Volunteering on a DSN course u may go through 1-2 days of complete imbalance in Food, Sleep and Sadhna but somehow it is balanced and taken care by the Master. Also, few days back I was going through a knowledge sheet wer Guruji said that Seva should not be a part of ur life but it should be within ur nature… your very nature, at dat time I felt that taking responsibility or being an OTC on a DSN course is my very nature.
DSN wont be possible without the whole team effort whether it may be Kitchen team , decoration team or Satsang team And of course our mentors Vasudha didi and Virat bhaiya who have been always der to support , guide and encourage us… Specially Virat bhaiya who wakes up us at 4.15am and is der until we windup at 12.00 at night during the DSN course. Special thanks to Bau for making Goregoan as a DSN Adda.

its really very hard for me to believe dat within such a small period of span i came close to so many volunteers and specially virat bhaiya!!! its becum like anythng happens or anythng new i hve to share it wid virat bhaiya!!!he is d best frnd, best teachr and a best person to b wid!! i never knew dat i will bcm d dudett of d month..but whn i came to know dat i am den my 1st reaction was dat wht does it mean and later ishetta made me undrstand wht it means.

Since the tme i am a part of d team i used to always tell virat bhaiya dat plzzz keep satsang or course or b anythng but keep sumthng at my place...and he used to always say dat yaa will keep but not now...let d tme go..and i used to always get upset as i used to always here d same thng...but one fne day whn virat bhaiya was discussing abt where to celebrate guruji's birthday den i poked in between by saying dat v can celebrate guruji;s birthday at my place..den his 1st question ws dat my parenst wil hve probs..den whn i told him dat no dey wont i hve already taken d permission frm dem den dat fne day he came to my place to see whetehr guruji's birthday can happn or no...and whn he finally said dat yaaa we can do it i was so happy and on d top of d world and i didnt hve any wrods to say and frm dat day onwards i was excited for d birthday to b celebrated at my place...infact mre den me jhalak, akhil,digisha,isheeta were happy as even dey wantd dat sumthng or d other shuld happn at my place..and finally it was guruji's birthday...i never expectd so much of crowd...it was just fabulous,fantastic!!:)
now i realised dat guruji himslf wantd sumthng big to happn at y place dats y not startng wid d small thng directly it was guruji's birthday which was celebrated at my place which i can never ever forget...i felt as if guruji himself came and said dat my birthday will b celebratd here...it was like a dream cume true!!!
Now dere is only one dream of mine dat i anyhow wanan cum for d summermagic and i knw dat guruji is wid me!!! :) :)
